ForbesToday’s NYT ‘Connections’ tips and answers for Sunday, June 30

Hello everybody! Welcome to the start of a new week! Somehow, we are already in the middle of 2024. The first half of the year was good for me. Here’s hoping it continues, and that the rest of 2024 is great for you too.

today NYT Relationships suggestions and answers are coming right away.

How to play the links

IN Relationships, you are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by finding the connections between them. Groups can be things like horror movie franchises, a type of verb, or rappers.

There is only one solution to each puzzle and you will have to be careful when it comes to words that can fit into more than one category. You can mix the words to help you see the connections between them.

Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, the blue and green fall in between, and the purple group is usually the hardest to figure out. The purple group often includes puns, so keep that in mind.

Choose four words that you think go together and press submit. If you make a guess and are incorrect, you will lose a life. If you’re close to making a correct set, you may see a message telling you that you’re just one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still need to figure out which one to switch.

If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today Relationships answers.

This is your last warning!

today Relationships the answers are…

  • Yellow group – show the way (DIRECT, GUIDE, LEAD, USHER)
  • Green group – scheme (CON, HUSTLE, RACKET, STING)
  • Blue band – seen on a US dollar bill (EAGLE, PYRAMID, SEAL, WASHINGTON)
  • Purple group – first word of Canadian provinces/territories (BRITISH, NORTHWEST, NOVA, PRINCE)

My second loss in a row was disappointing as a) it’s Canada Day and that should have clicked and b) this is where I live. Now I’m worried I won’t be allowed back after my vacation.

I saw STING, USHER, and PRINCE right out of the gate, but I didn’t see another mononymous singer going with them. I then turned my attention to the greens, but made a mistake by including PYRAMID instead of STING at the start. I corrected it for my first set.

I then found the yellows before running into trouble. I had no idea about blue or purple. A hint of the latter should have been enough for NOVA. But after a few random guesses, my luck ran out.

That’s all there is for today Relationships data and response. Be sure to check my blog for hints and the walkthrough for Tuesday’s game if you need them.

PS I went to a really fun show on Friday, with The Darkness (a band I really love) and the always enjoyable Busted. So let’s go with my favorite song from the latter to kick off this week.
