Hey, people! One of my favorite sporting events of the year, Wimbledon, is underway. As such, I will be spending most of this week and next curled up in front of the TV, enjoying what is sure to be some high-quality tennis from the world’s best players. (When I’m not watching Euro 2024, at least.)
today NYT Relationships suggestions and answers are coming right away.
How to play the links
IN Relationships, you are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by finding the connections between them. Groups can be things like horror movie franchises, a type of verb, or rappers.
There is only one solution to each puzzle and you will have to be careful when it comes to words that can fit into more than one category. You can mix the words to help you see the connections between them.
Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, the blue and green fall in between, and the purple group is usually the hardest to figure out. The purple group often includes puns, so keep that in mind.
Choose four words that you think go together and press submit. If you make a guess and are incorrect, you will lose a life. If you’re close to making a correct set, you may see a message telling you that you’re just one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still need to figure out which one to switch.
If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today Relationships answers.

today Relationships the answers are…
- Yellow group — packing (away) for future use (SQUIRREL, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE)
- Green group – adjectives for assets (FIXED, FROZEN, LIQUID, TEXTILE)
- Blue group – Latin words (CAVEAT, ERGO, QUID, VOX)
- Purple group — game ____ (ADJECTIVE, VERB, NUMBER, squid)
I’m very happy to get back to winning ways after a couple of losses.
It took me a few minutes to get the ball back today. STASH, STOW and STORE had the makings of a set, but I couldn’t see a fourth to go with them. I looked elsewhere and realized ERGO, QUID and VOX sounded like the kind of Latin things a lawyer might say. CAVEAT made sense with those.
I turned my attention to the yellows and tried a guess with FIXED. Not sure why I chose this, but it killed my chances of a perfect game. A few seconds later, I realized that SQUIRREL was the fourth mystery word.
The network merged ARCADE and SQUID together, making it easier to take out the purple group. This left the greens to victory.
That’s all there is for today Relationships data and response. Be sure to check my blog for tips and the solution for Wednesday’s match if you need them.
PS One of my favorite arcade games of all time is The Simpsons. It’s a great shooter that you can play with up to three friends. It also allowed for some awesome double team moves. I’ll have to find an arcade where it’s still available… or maybe just splash out and have my machine at home.
